I've finally managed to establish a VPN connection between my (remote) Windows laptop (with ZyWALL IPSec VPN Client software) to my home network behind USG 20 (acting as a IPSec VPN server) via a tunnel. I can ping hosts on my home network (192.168.0.0) from the remote laptop. USG20 is the network's gateway at 192.168.0.1. There is also a AT&T modem between USG20 and the Internet (at 192.168.1.254).
Here is the routing table for the laptop:
[att=1]
10.10.10.1 is the remote address of my USG20, I assume.
What I would like to do is to connect to the Internet from my laptop via USG20. Is it possible in my setup?
What I've tried is adding an extra route to the routing table which should send traffic to 10.10.10.1 first:
[att=2]
and added a route to USG20:
[att=3]
as well as couple of FW rules:
[att=4]
But this does not work: when loading a page from the Internet it looks like the laptop tries to use 10.10.10.1 for a few seconds (because there is a delay), but then reverts back to the remote wifi router (192.168.43.0 network).
Any suggestions on how to make this work would be greatly appreciated.
